We both grew up in the South, a Nashville native, where entertaining is more than a pastime—it’s a legacy. Together, we’ve always shared a love for gatherings, meaningful celebrations, and the kind of elevated details that make people feel truly special. Whether it’s an intimate bridal shower, a candlelit rehearsal dinner, or a joyful engagement party, we believe every event should feel personal, intentional, and beautifully curated.  We’ve been married for 25 years, and we’re the proud parents of two incredible men and a beautifully engaging daughter-in-law. Family is the foundation of our life and the inspiration behind everything we do. In 2017, we designed and built this estate with one shared purpose: to create a space that brings people together. With soul, style, and intention, our home became more than just a place to live—it became the heart of Smith House Events. Our journey into event design has deep roots. Part of that journey included creating luxury experiences for a cigar company, where we learned the art of mood, flow, and the power of ambiance. That experience shaped how we approach each event—not just as a party, but as a full-sensory story. Every event we host is a chance to create a magnus opus—a one-of-a-kind masterpiece that reflects the spirit of the occasion and the people at its heart.
